I love the atmosphere at the Sun and Moon, so it was okay that there were a lot of 'no shows' for this gig on a snowy night up Emigration canyon. It was surprising, and very nice, to see the Paulsons show up! They seemed to enjoy it. Aaron and I seem to be headed in a 'bluesy' direction, which is a whole lot of fun! This was also the first gig with the Fern tuned down a half step. I was a tad concerned about it buzzing, but it came through with flying colors! It was also probably the last gig for the other mandolin (The Daley). It's been on mandolincafe.com for a few days, and a couple people are interested. Good thing, because Mr. Bussman's mandola is strung up and ready to be shipped to me!
Just a couple more days before the Fifth Fret gig at the top of the Canyons resort for New Years Eve. We also have a couple more dates at the Sun and Moon coming up.
Ciao
